Phil the Milkman
Transcript Phil the milkman and Trudy stand outside Trudy's house as Phil hands over the milk bottles. Phil is an extremely old man, bent with age and long of beard. His milk truck is from the 1950s, at least visually. Caroline stands behind Trudy, rolling her eyes.
Phil: Aye, when I were a lad, we walked ten miles to the beach, uphill both ways, through blistering snow!

Introducing Phil the Milkman, who wandered in from a different, more gothic horror-oriented, concept but seems to fit on the island somehow. He is 107 years old and still doing his milk round every other day. It's a small village so it doesn't take him that long; on alternate days, Cass drives for him and delivers dairy to the potato farmers and other outlying businesses.
I'm going to take a break after this one, to evaluate my process and the direction the comics are taking. Christmas seems like a good time to reflect, so I'll see you all in January!
