Panel 1.
Postillon, Vandervalk and Gretchen are commentating again.
Gretchen: I liked it better when it was all "ROOOOOARRR" instead of just that keyboard turned up to 11.
Postillon: I'm impressed by how they found the most repulsive possible things to sing about.
Panel 2.
Vandervalk: That can't be true!
Postillon: Why not?\
Vandervalk: They haven't sung a word about their own faces!
Panel 3.
Vandervalk and Postillon yuk it up. Behind them, the goths and metalhead seem hypnotized.
Vandervalk/Postillon: Huh-huh-huh!
Gretchen: Errr…
Audience members: Hummmmmmmmmm…
A bit of a mean-spirited joke from Vandervalk and Postillon here.
This was going to be a regular-formatted strip but despite having a flying start on Monday, I got further and further behind. To avoid turning the Sunday session into a marathon, I've split the originally-intended comic in half. The other half may appear some time during the week, maybe Wednesday. I can't guarantee it but that may be how I end up making scheduling for this series work over the final stretch of Dunestock.
Not everyone has to be completely nude; we see a lot of characters in various states of dress. It's however they feel comfortable. But this person stands out to me because they were naked last time we saw these characters. Artist just must have decided on a different look for them.
Probably more to do with it being later in the afternoon and its gotten colder, several other characters have donned more clothing recently... even Cass! :o
Oh dang! Is most of the audience in a trance now? THOSE BIG SCARY THINGS from the grave area are here now?! OH MAN! I am very much regretting having spaced out on checking this comic for a few weeks, I've been missing some great stuff!
Fantastic work on this page!
