Cass: It's a T-shirt! You've seen me wear T-shirts before!
Mycelia: "Waxed, vaxed and ready for-"
Cass: I was feeling really optimistic about things last summer, OK?
Panel 2.
Mycelia: OK, never mind. Look, you've been doing yoga for 8 hours straight, right?
Cass: Yeah, why?
Panel 3.
Mycelia: Would you say you're feeling connected to everything right now?
Cass: I guess, but that's not how-
Mycelia: I have reason to believe that the music of Festering Suppuration is cursed!
Panel 4.
Cass: Mycelia, have you been in the special mushrooms?
Mycelia: I tell you, it's curséd! What all is around the campsite?
Panel 5.
Cass: I don't need special mind powers for that! There's a lovely spoonbill colony, and beyond that there's an abandoned bunker with a bat colony…
Mycelia: Bat colony, check.
Panel 6.
Cass: Oh, and there's the old Adamite cemetery.
Mycelia: Yikes!

I've been saying for a while now that comics don't really reach their final form until the 100th episode, and this is definitely true for this one. I think Mycelia was originally taller but she's evolved. Her loopier side is only now coming out as well. Form-wise, this one has only one distance/full body shot in it and that's made the process of drawing it a lot faster, but maybe at the expense of the look and feel? I think right now it was worth it for me to make the art easier to do but at the same time, I don't expect I'll be sticking with it. The theater-like framing of most panels is part of what I want, and over time, comics that save time by making things easier also become more boring for artist and reader alike. I've seen some comics spiral into nothing as a result.
About Mycelia's hair: you'll notice that in parts of the archives it is black, and on this page, and some others, it's not. This is a simple inconsistency on my part, which I would fix if I were to make, say, an ebook edition or a print version, or a remaster for reposting on a different website. But in the color strips, her hair is almost black, but not quite, so that should be the official color.
Another great page! Very fun conversation too - though, what I'm wondering now is, while it seems like their music may actually be cursed, is Festering Suppuration's sound any good?
Perhaps a mix of both going forward?
