Showtime for Suppuration
Transcript Panel 1. Big.
From the stage, Festering Suppuration walking on. Gail in front, heading to her spot behind the keyboard.
Oozer: Oh, wow, they did bring the whole crowd to the main stage.
Pustule: for a small festival, this might turn out to be a pretty decent gig after all.

Panel 2.
Gail plays some chord and sings some wordless notes into the microphone. Oozer and Pustule talk in the background.
Oozer: Someone should tell them about pants though.
Pustule: Count your bars.

Panel 3.
At the mixing desk, Sarah adjust her faders while looking at a handwritten cue sheet.
Sarah (thought): Three… two… one… and… bass.

Panel 4.
Tag plays a note on his bass, with a theatrical, attention-drawing gesture (foot on monitor ?)

Panel 5.
In the audience. Tess and Abby looking at the stage. Abby’s hair is standing on end, and there is a lot of it. Next to them stands Mycelia.
Tess: Hey, I've seen that jawline before!
Abby: They’re building up tension all right.
Mycelia: That’s an interesting synthesizer she’s got.

I’ve never done sound at any show but I imagine a band like Festering Suppuration would make some cue sheets for their dramatic entrance, if not necessarily the rest of their show. Also Tag totally tailors his stage presentation for whatever band he’s in: compare with this Tess Durban page.

Seems like they're making a very cool opening to their performance! Awesome!
